NPA ALL STAR GAME - UNIFORM

OVERVIEW

The NPA All-Star Game brings together standout basketball talent from across the National Preparatory Association (NPA), celebrating the players, competition, and culture of Canadian basketball.

Contender Studio designed custom uniforms for the event, creating a distinct visual identity for the competing All-Star teams. The goal was to deliver a bold, cohesive look that captured the excitement of an All-Star showcase while giving athletes a uniform worthy of the occasion.

Great sports design doesn't just look good. It belongs in the game.

Toronto Zoo X The Borough Football Club - Kit Design

Some sports design projects are about creating a uniform. Others demonstrate how intentional design can create long-term commercial, cultural, and community value for a club.

Our collaboration with The Borough Football Club and the Toronto Zoo is one of those projects. At Contender Studio, we've been aligned with The Borough from the ground up — from shaping its foundational brand identity and inaugural kits to this latest chapter: collaborating with the iconic Toronto Zoo on an official alternate kit.

THE BOROUGH FOOTBALL CLUB - UNIFORM

For The Borough Football Club, the concept "destination is the brand" was central to the uniform design. Drawing inspiration from historical city maps of Scarborough, the kit features intricate linework representing the city's streets and intersections. This design choice authentically connects the team to its community, ensuring that fans see their own neighborhoods reflected on the pitch. The uniform serves as both a symbol of local pride and a visual representation of the club's deep roots in the community.
